Jean Garner
Jean Garner joined Al Jazeera English in 2007. Prior to working for the program Witness she spent most of her broadcasting career working for the US based news broadcaster, ABC News. She has a background in long format news programs but also in daily news coverage of topics such as election coverage and “breaking news.” Part of the appeal for the journalists who work for AJE comes in seeing the emphasis in covering new territories and emerging issues from a fresh perspective and reaching new audiences with a global perspective. |
