Raúl Camargo Bórquez

An academic and film programmer, he studied at the University of Chile and the Arcis University. In 2007, he joined the programming team of the Valdivia International Film Festival, becoming its artistic delegate in 2010 and its director in 2014. He has written articles for specialized media such as La Fuga, Fuera de Campoand Hambre Cine, among others. He is one of the authors of the book El novísimo cine chileno (2011), and is preparing his first solo book, about the affiliations and changes in perspective between Latin American films from last century and those of the new new century. As a university professor, he teaches Film History at many Chilean universities.



Jang Byungwon

Born in South Korea in 1972, he is a film critic. He got a PhD in Visual Arts at the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film of the Chung-Ang University, in Seoul. As a researcher, he has worked at the Im Kwontaek Museum of Cinema of Dongseo University as well as the Visual Media Center of Dong-Eui University. Between the years 2000 and 2008, he served as chief editor of the film magazine Film 2.0, a position he left in order to become part of the programming committee at the Seoul International Family Film Festival.  Since 2013 he has been working as programmer of the  Jeonju International Film Festival.



Andréa Picard

She is an independent film curator and writer based in Toronto. For 12 years, she was a member of the programming team at TIFF Cinematheque (née Cinematheque Ontario), where she curated numerous retrospectives and thematic seasons. Since 2006, she is the lead curator of Wavelengths, the celebrated avant-garde section of the Toronto International Film Festival, where she oversees a selection of short films, features and installations. In addition to her curatorial work, Picard has published internationally on art, architecture and film, and writes a quarterly "Film/Art” column for the prestigious Cinema Scope magazine.
