At the auditorium of Museo del Mar, part of the program of the 30° edition of the Festival was announced. With the presence of the Governor of the Buenos Aires Province, Mr. Daniel Scioli, the Mayor of the City of Mar del Plata, Mr. Gustavo Pulti, the President of INCAA, Ms. María Lucía Cardoso, the President of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Mr. José Martínez Suárez and the President of the Cultural Institute of the Buenos Aires Province, Mr. Jorge Telerman, the road to the Festival began, an event that will bring the best of national and international cinema.
The huge number of Argentine films in the program was announced, with 17 national films as part of the three main competitions, not to mention the retrospectives, Argentine Panorama, programs and short film competitions. In addition to this, the incorporation of six screens to the Complejo Aldrey-Iglesias was announced, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, with the first Latin American theatre with DOLBY ATMOS sound. The Museo del Mar theatre will also be part of the Festival.
Artists and people from the audiovisual industry were present, such asPablo Echarri, Nancy Duplaa, Gustavo Garzón, Juan Leyrado, Malena Solda, Victoria Onetto, Daniel Valenzuela, Adriana Salonia, Osvaldo Santoro, Celina Font, Marcelo Melingo, Esteban Meloni, Cony Vera, Emilia Claudeville, Fernán Mirás, Manuel Vicente, Coco Blaustein, Fernando Sokolowicz, Martin Pavlosky, Gabriela Radice, Norberto Gonzalo, Luciana Giordano y María Inés Gago, among others.
