WIP - Special Mention - «Los Corroboradores»

Los Corroboradores reveals the story of a secret society from Buenos Aires who, by the late 19th Century, set out to imitate Paris in Buenos Aires. I discovered the myth after buying, during a visit to San Telmo, an old photograph stamped with a Janus bust: the symbol of Los Corroboradores. As of that moment, I started tracking down the writing and photos of the time. Thus, I discovered they are still active and, as Marcel Duchamp stated in 1919 when he visited the city: "Buenos Aires doesn’t exist: it’s a copy of Paris”.
