An alternative history structured as a travel narrative. Portraying an equatorial dystopia that evokes the excesses of the progressive, modernist dream in 20th century Latin America, the film is intentionally fragmented as it depicts a fantastical present in which fake ruins and relics of 3D utopian architecture coexist with vernacular buildings and people’s everyday lives.
