Amigas en un camino de campo

A meteorite falls in the mountains. And because, by all accounts, nothing much happens in that small town, going after it becomes the excuse for the reunion of two lifelong friends, who walk the fields in the company of the shadow of a third friend who died as well as their memories, their resentment, their questions, their laughter and their love. Almost in a mirror-like fashion, the daughter of one of the women, who left for the city and has come back to visit, tries to solve her own issues. Establishing a dialogue with Roberta Iannamico’s poetry, whose beauty beats in the heart of the film, Santiago Loza builds a small cinematic refuge in order to give shelter to the mystery of the everyday. The winter landscape and Santiago Motorizado’s music are the setting for the best possible definition of friendship—a friend is someone with whom we can share our path in silence without it becoming awkward.
