Silences of Childhood
Soledad tries to remember her childhood. At the age of nine, when she discovers she’s in love with her cousin, she starts to live an intense, forbidden story. Soledad is sure that children also fall in love.
Sofía Quirós Ubeda
Sofía Quirós Ubeda is an Argentine-Costa Rican director born in 1989. She studied Image and Sound Design at the Universtity of Buenos Aires. Her first feature, Land of Ashes (2019, 34th Festival), premiered at Cannes Film Festival’s 58th Critics’ Week. She is currently working on her second fiction feature, Madre pájaro.
