Being a teenager, Sayu struggles between diverging realities in order to shape her identity. On the one hand, she is a Cuban girl who practices skating and loves to sing, but on the other, she is a Japanese one whose family wants to take back to Japan to give her a better future. Her everyday life is characterized by the intersection of two irreconcilable paths. Sayu seeks shelter in corners and people from the city in order to avoid confronting a decision her parents have made for her.
