Special screening of“100 years of The Nibelungs”and“100 years of the Teatro Colón in Mar del Plata”

During the 39th Festival, a special screening of Fritz Lang’s The Nibelungs will be presented at the Teatro Colón in Mar del Plata (Hipólito Yrigoyen 1665). On Tuesday, November 26 at 9:30 pm, you can enjoy Siegfried’s Death (Part 1), while on Wednesday, November 27 at 10:00 pm, it will be time for Kriemhild’s Revenge (Part 2).

In addition, on the occasion of the film’s centenary, the special screening will feature live music. Maestro José María Ulla is in charge of the original music and piano -with collaboration from Duggan Bayerque Zuzulich-, with the voices of Victoria Cicchitti and Paula San Martín.

These screenings are made with the support of the Goethe-Institut. A film from the collection of the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung (www.murnau-stiftung.de).

Tickets for the Teatro Colón screenings will be free and can be picked up at the box office on the day of each screening from 9 am, up to 2 per person.
