8th ENERC Exhibition
The National School of Experimentation and Filmmaking is pleased to present, as every year, the works of its students throughout the country. Celebrated in this selection the search for narratives and the incorporation of its transformation in the passage through school, in the documentary, fiction and animation. We celebrate one more year being part of the most important Festival in Latin America!
El soldado y el Diablo
Araceli Aguirre, Ignacio Sánchez Moreau / Sede NOA - 17’
At the end of the 19th century, an Argentine soldier of Coya origin, finds himself dehydrated, hungry and lost. During the journey to return to his barracks he will have an encounter with the devil, who will judge him for the crimes committed against his own people.
El viejo remanso
Ramona Córdoba / Sede Patagonia - 13’
Marco travels to the Patagonia with his brother and a friend to say goodbye to the his mother's ashes in “El remanso”. Their plan is interrupted when the car stops working, leaving them in the middle of nowhere.
Tierra yerma
Ramiro Mercado / Sede Cuyo - 19’
Ramon refuses to sell his land to a greedy real estate company. When he seems cornered by the dirty tactics of a corrupt bussinessman, he must decide whether to give up everything he owns, or take control of the situation.
Cautivo

In this loose adaptation of Poe's classic The Tell-Tale Heart, a captive Aboriginal man will know freedom after murdering his captor.

When a constant sound ceases, the butler of the house discovers silence's peace and repetition's madness.

Loana Pagani / Sede AMBA - 17’
On the eve of their separation, Juana and Gabriel go to an exclusive restaurant. Gabriel's concern about a something that happened in the past triggers a morbid game between them that escalates to involve the chef.

Inside a university, an IT course for seniors takes place on Tuesdays. There, students learn to manage technology. However, it would seem that something stronger unites them: the desire to have an active old age and to continue forming bonds.
