Martina's Search
Martina is an Argentine widow who has been searching for over thirty years for her grandson, born in captivity during the military dictatorship. The urgency to find him grows when Martina is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Upon discovering that her grandson may be in Brazil, Martina embarks on a journey where past and present intertwine, turning her search into a fight against forgetting.
Márcia Faria
Márcia Faria (Brazil) made her directorial debut with the series Alice for HBO. In 2010, her short Estação competed for the Palme d'Or at Cannes. She directed Oscar Freire 279 and the first season of #MeChamaDeBruna for FOX. She co-directed Os Quatro da Candelária for Netflix. Martina's Search is her debut feature film.
