A young doctor begins an internship in a remote village where most of the residents are elderly. There, he meets Ino, a beloved veteran doctor who tends to all the healthcare needs of the people, from treating patients to making house calls. Ino is deeply respected, almost like a guardian of the community. The young doctor, inspired by Ino’s dedication, finds fulfillment in his work. When they treat a widow hiding her illness from her daughters, Ino helps maintain her secret. Eventually, it’s revealed that Ino himself has been hiding a secret.
