Lalo Schifrin was born in Buenos Aires in 1932 in a musical cradle: his father and uncles were members of the permanent orchestra of the Teatro Colón. He was trained in classical music and his passion for jazz arose in his adolescence. He traveled to France at the age of 20, after winning a grant to study at the National Conservatory. After this excellent training, he produced a monumental work that led him to fame and to tour the main stages of the world, both with his music for film and television and with his jazz and classical works. From his home in Beverly Hills, we accompany him on this journey of memory and feelings, letting his music be the guide on this path.
