Shadows of the Forgotten Ancestors
Set in a remote town in the Carpathians, the film tells of the passionate and romantic love, from early childhood, of Ivan and Marichka. Despite the enmity that eventually pits their families against each other, their love never falters and, when they separate, a star allows them to remember each other.
